Dr. Pavi Kundhal is a highly skilled and compassionate gastric sleeve surgeon with an impressive 15 years of experience. Dr.Kundhal’s Background
Dr. Pavi Kundhal (MD, FRCSC, Dipl. ABOM) is a general and laparoscopic surgeon specializing in bariatric and minimally invasive surgery.
He attended medical school at University of Toronto, where he also completed his general surgery training. Dr. Kundhal also completed a Clinical Fellowship at the Toronto East General Hospital with a focus on advanced minimally invasive procedures.
He has a clinical interest in surgical and non-surgical weight loss, and has completed numerous post-graduate courses in this area. He recently completed an MBA from the Ivey School of Business.
Dr. Kundhal regularly attends conferences and courses to keep up to date with the latest advances in laparoscopic surgery and Obesity Medicine in order to provide his patients with the most up to date and evidence based care.
Dr. Kundhal is a member of the College of Physician and Surgeons of Ontario, Fellow of the Royal Colleges of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, Ontario Association of General Surgeons, and Obesity Medicine Association. He is also a SCOPE certified specialist in Obesity Medicine and a member of the American Board of Obesity Medicine.
